Azerbaijan opens criminal case against some Armenian leaders


A press conference was held today for representatives of local and foreign media, as well as foreign diplomatic missions with the participation of Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to First Vice President Elchin Amirbekov and Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev.

At the conference it became known that the prosecutor's office of Azerbaijan opened a criminal case against the leaders of the so-called Nagorno-Karabakh organization Araik Harutyunyan, Jamal Harutyunyan, David Babayan and Armen Babajanyan, as well as foreign mercenaries fighting in the occupied territories.The criminals are on the international wanted list. Among the mercenaries are citizens of Armenian origin from France, America, Belarus and other countries.

The prosecutor's office also opened a criminal case against companies that illegally operate in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan. Companies engaged in the development of illegal gold deposits in the Kelbajar and Zangilan regions have already been identified.

By the way, today one of the 9 liberated settlements is the village of Vezhneli, which has rich gold deposits.

It was noted at the press conference that the amount of damage caused by Armenia to the economic system of Azerbaijan has been calculated and measures will be taken within the framework of the law.

The horrific facts of the killing of civilians were also announced at the conference. It turned out that 7 families were completely destroyed as a result of Armenian war crimes and terrorist acts.
